The Midnight Italian Second Dinner Party

JB and I have been watching Sopranos. I have to admit, we were 2 discs in and I was still "Eh? What's the big deal?!" but now I am possibly a little hooked. Anyhoo, last night JB and I were watching - actually the last episode of Season 1 - and got this intense desire for some really good homemade Italian food. A "no talking back to" desire. A "stop the episode and get a recipe off the web for tomato sauce we can make with ingredients we currently have in our fridge/pantry" desire. This may or may not have had anything to do with the 1/2 bottle of red wine we drank. However, the upshot is that we ended up cooking and then eating basically a second dinner that we didn't need because we weren't hungry we were just dying for a taste of some Italian food. It was actually very satisfying. Now I have to spend the weekend running.
