I am so excited that when I saw the preview in the theater (without expecting it) I actually gasped. It was dead silent at the moment I did, so everyone knows that I want to see this movie.

Heeeee! That's awesome. And I know exactly how you feel. Someone the otherday said "you'll never guess what preview I saw the other-" and I jumped in with "SERENITY???" and she gave me this look that said quite clearly I was insane and then said the name for some other not-Serenity movie and I was a little deflated. Anyhow, I haven't seen it in the theatre yet, thought I WAS TOLD that it would be playing before "Hitchikers." But it wasn't. So dissapointing. That was the first time I can remember being crushed when the movie started. Sigh.

I saw it before Hitchhiker's, but I was a bit disappointed with the trailer. I think I was expecting more. This is not to say however that I think the movie is going to be bad, quite the contrary.

I saw it before Hitchhiker's as well. Your theater sucks. I, on the other hand, WAS impressed with the preview. I was blown away. I saw some excellent fighting, some hanging from ceilings, some Revers, lots of Mal, and FABULOUS Wash. I love Wash. I miss Wash. I must watch them all again.

I'm jealous of both of you! I did hear, T$, that they're gearing the movie a little towards the sci-fi aspect and away from the "western" aspect of the show (possibly to reach a wider crowd? Possibly because this story takes place more in the core worlds? I don't know - or if this is even true.) I just really want to see it. SEPTEMBER 30TH PEOPLE! Where will you be?

So, unbeknownst to my employers, I have scheduled my China trip so that it will not interfere with the release of Serenity. Does that make me as bad as you?
